Featured Friday: Trophy Cupcakes and Party
Hello all my party people, how is our Friday night transpiring? We are currently enjoying our second week of Seattle and loving every single second of it. I always feel Seattle always has a little bit of my heart and honestly would not mind calling this place home. Like this week's amazing business, we have had nothing but amazing service, food, and moments with the small businesses out here in Seattle. Before we jump into this week's Featured Friday, we encourage everyone to check out our Seattle Travel Guide and Photography Blog to see more of our cross-country adventures. I am so excited to showcase such a sweet, authentic, and woman owned company that I had the pleasure of interviewing this week.
This week we had the amazing opportunity of interviewing, tasting, and visiting with Trophy Cupcakes and Party located in the University Village part of Seattle. The company was started by Jennifer Shae and was originally a woman owned company. I had the pleasure of interviewing Hollie Streiff who was sweet as a cupcake and offered us top notch service. The glorious Trophy’s has been serving up Seattle’s sweet tooth since 2007 and has since grown from one location to four locations in the Seattle and Bellevue area. This local company offers all things sweet and yummy which is honestly impressive from how many items they create. Some of the delicious treats that make up their menu include Cupcakes, Macarons, Tarts, Cookies, and Ice Cream. They offer a plethora of services to help with any party or if you're looking to satisfy that midday craving. We had the privilege of trying six different decadent cupcake flavors and a tray of Macarons, and oh my goodness my mouth is watering just writing this!
Starting with the cupcakes, not only were the flavors unique and rich they were also baked to perfection. Each cupcake offers the perfect amount of sweetness, topping, and flavor making them all so enjoyable. Some of the flavors that defiantly stood out were the blueberry cupcakes, red velvet, and lemon cupcakes. When talking with Hollie she informed us the company collaborates with a different small business every month and for July they partnered with the Seattle Blueberry company. The blueberry cupcake and macaron were both nothing short of amazing and you could truly taste the freshness and quality of the blueberry flavoring. Some other notable flavors were the perfect cupcake for a chocolate lover and a uniquely interesting carrot cake. Overall with each bite, I fell in love with the company over and over again. This would make the perfect hosting item for our next business meeting, party, or taste testing with a loved one. The decor and aesthetic of the entire venue pulled everything together and made me joyful as soon as I walked into the building, which is one of Hollie’s favorite pats.
Overall we were extremely impressed with Trophy’s company as a whole. Woman owned companies always hold such a special sentiment in my heart because I love watching Women create and succeed in such amazing businesses. When I asked Hollie what her absolute favorite fact of the company is, she said the amazing fact of it being a woman owned company. I also really appreciate how they are, and support, local business and they create a happy work environment. It inspires me to continue with my business when I see others chasing their dreams and creating a name for themselves in large cities. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Trophy’s and for all of the delicious treats. We can not wait to come back and try more of their amazing products! For Seattle locals and travelers to the area, I would highly recommend paying this shop a visit.
Thank you to all of our readers for another week. I hope you have a fabulous weekend and you have a second to sit down and enjoy a delicious dessert. Please send us any local or small businesses in the Seattle or upcoming New York region. See you all next week.
